Abstract
Guided by the overarching question, “to what extent does ethnic heterogeneity contribute to spatial differentiation between native-born and ethnic minority children in Denmark, and what potential implications does this differentiation have for integration?”, Jeppe has in his Ph.D. thesis studied the processes of segregation during childhood in Denmark.
For the defence, the assessment committee has asked for the following to be discussed:
Assessing causes of ethnic segregation: An overview of central theories and challenges to causal inference in the study of immigrants’ and natives’ residential choices.
