This seminar will explore the relationship between ‘labour as infrastructure’ and ‘migration infrastructure’ as frameworks to understand how migrants that carry out gig work are changing the city itself, while simultaneously shifting urban landscapes serve to further constrain and enable the same migrant gig workers to structure their own work and non-work lives.
