Lately the European Union has had a number of issues: Covid, the Chinese-US rivalry coming from outside, and inside the question of rule of law in Hungary and Poland. Now, these issues remain, but are overshadowed by Russia’s assault on Ukraine.

This semester France is at the helm of the European Union. On March 17th the French charges d ’affairs Mr. Frédéric Rimoux will discuss French foreign policy in general and in particular look into French EU-policy as well as the priorities of the French presidency.
