I recently graduated with a master's degree from Aalborg University in Global Refugee Studies. Prior to that, I obtained my bachelor's degree from Roskilde University in Cultural Encounters and International Studies. I am Italian and have been living in Copenhagen for 5 years and a half. I will assist Prof Tamirace Fakhoury in the research project 'Tracking Pandemic Borderscapes: Chronicles of Mobility and Immobility' analysing the impacts of Covid-19 on displacement in the Euro-Mediterranean region. During my studies, I have focused specifically on issues related to migration, forced displacement, and human rights violations along the Mediterranean migratory routes, and I also have some experience from the civil society sector working on such topics.
