I am a new Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Politics and Society, where I will be part of the research group Aalborg Center for International and European Affairs. I have a background in Political Science from Aarhus University (BSc & PhD) and the University of Copenhagen (MSc). Since earning the PhD degree in 2019, I have been a Postdoctoral fellow at Aarhus University affiliated with the project CODE (Conflict and Democratization).
My research focuses on armed conflict and authoritarian regimes. I study micro-level factors such as opinion formation towards military interventions and macro-level factors such as colonial legacies and spatial conflict dynamics. My research has been published in the Journal of Politics, Journal of Peace Research, Government and Opposition, and International Journal of Public Opinion Research. Previously, I have also done research on Danish defense and security politics at the Centre for Military Studies in Copenhagen, and I hope to revitalize part of this research agenda in the near future.
