Kristina has been an assistant professor at the department since 2018. Her research field is political psychology. She is especially interested in how emotions and moral rhetoric shape political communication and public opinion formation. She applies insights from psychology to study public opinion about inequality and redistribution, the causes of affective polarization, opinions towards military conflicts and citizens’ interactions with the administrative state. She teaches different courses on PAS like political sociology, methods and political psychology.
